I still can't wrap my head around how it took nearly four years to bring someone to justice for Linda Jenkins' murder. It must have been a never-ending nightmare for her family during those years, hoping for some answers. I've been thinking a lot about those detectives who worked tirelessly on her case. It can't have been easy, especially with so much pressure to find new leads. Hats off to them for finally being able to put the pieces together and arresting Gerald Tyrone Carter. I'm just relieved for Linda’s family—I can't imagine the strength it took to get through such a rough time without losing hope. Let’s keep them in our thoughts as they continue to heal from this ordeal.

Has anyone else been looking into the timeline of this case? It's truly unsettling to think about how long Linda's family had to wait for answers. I'm surprised it took almost four years for an arrest in what seemed to be clearly marked a homicide. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the advances in the investigation that led to the arrest of Gerald Tyrone Carter? Big shoutout to the detectives for not giving up. It must have been incredibly difficult for Linda's loved ones to endure all those years of uncertainty, waiting for justice and hoping for some resolution.
