I just came across this really sad news about Ashlyn Quentin Fields from Spartanburg. I feel so deeply for Ashlyn's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I can't imagine what they must be going through.

What really gets to me is thinking about all the potential Ashlyn had and how abruptly it was snatched away. An 18-year-old with his whole life ahead of him—it's just not fair.

I'm curious if anyone has heard anything about any community efforts or vigils being organized in his memory? It seems when tragedies like this strike, communities often come together to support each other and honor the lost in some meaningful ways.
