I can’t shake the sadness I feel for DeShawn Brown’s family and friends. Attending a funeral service often brings a sense of closure, but also highlights the loss even more. It's at times like these where I think of the moments and memories shared by those close to him. It seems like his funeral at Robinson A.M.E. Zion Church will be packed; a testament to the impact he made during his time here. It’s hard to imagine the weight his loved ones are bearing, especially without answers about what happened that day in March. If anyone in the community has information, please do the right thing and reach out to the Cheraw Police. Every bit of information helps. RIP DeShawn.
Has anyone looked into the surveillance cameras in the area around ACL Avenue? So many businesses and homes these days have security systems with cameras that could have captured something useful for the investigation. I'm hoping the Cheraw Police have already started checking those resources. It's baffling and deeply upsetting how someone could take DeShawn Brown's life and just disappear without a trace. I can’t imagine what his family and friends are going through right now, and it’s frustrating to think the person responsible might still be out there. If anyone has any footage or information, even if it seems insignificant, please share it with the authorities. It could make all the difference in getting justice for DeShawn.
