Hey everyone,
I've been following the updates on the Walsh Drive Apartments tragedy, and something has been on my mind. I've read about Charles Saunders being a NYC resident, but I'm curious about the family ties he has in Jasper County. Does anyone know more about his background or why he was in the area? It seems like a lot of heartache could stem from unresolved issues in families, and I wonder if there's more to his story and history with Alesia and Bernard. This is such a devastating loss for their families, and I hope they find some peace as the investigation goes on.
Sending all my thoughts to those who know and love Ms. Dykes and Mr. Lyles. ?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Walsh Drive Apartments case, and something that really struck me was how quickly they were able to track down Charles Saunders using that Flock camera technology. I understand these cameras have been quite controversial for privacy reasons, but in this tragic situation, it's hard to overlook how they played a crucial role in the investigation.
It's chilling to think about how events unfolded right in that parking lot—an ordinary place where residents go about their daily lives. I'm grateful for the quick tips from the public and law enforcement's response, but it’s truly devastating what happened to Alesia and Bernard. My thoughts are with their loved ones as they try to make sense of this senseless act.
It’s a stark reminder of how technology can be a double-edged sword, both protecting and intruding, depending on the lens we view it through. I'm curious, what do you all think about the use of such surveillance tech in policing? Does it make you feel safer or more concerned about privacy issues?
