Hi everyone, I've been following the discussions around Manfred Rodas de Leon's disappearance, and there's something I've been thinking about. Given McAllen's proximity to the border, do you think it's possible that Manfred's case could be connected to the issues faced by many in the region, such as border crossings? I've read about other cases from that area where individuals either disappeared while attempting crossings or got caught up in issues on either side of the border.
It's a bit concerning how little information is out there, and I wonder if the local conditions make it challenging to keep track of those who go missing. Does anyone have insights into how often these cases get linked to broader issues in border towns, or is this something unique to certain situations? Hoping to hear what others think.
