Does anyone else find it so unsettling how quickly life can change? I've been thinking about Jarion Dewayne Jones, and it just hits differently when you realize how real and close to home this is. From what I read, Jarion had such a promising future ahead of him—studying welding at Delta Technical College and being a part of the Under the Cloud Ministry. He seemed like a young man who was truly trying to build something positive for himself.
I grew up in a small town, and I know how tight-knit communities can be. It's gut-wrenching to think about how his family and friends must be feeling right now. The shock, the unanswered questions...
