Has anyone else been following the LaKeisha Fields case? I've been thinking about the impact this must have on her family and friends, especially considering how close they were to celebrating her 37th birthday. It's so sad to think about all the milestones and moments that have been taken away from her loved ones. Also, that early morning timing is just eerie to me – makes me wonder if anyone else in the apartment complex heard anything before the deputies arrived. I'm relieved that Demario McGaha turned himself in, but it’s unsettling to think that he was on house arrest before this. Just raises questions about how the system monitors individuals and whether there were any warning signs. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew her as they navigate this painful time.
