I've been thinking a lot about Jeremy White's case lately, and I keep coming back to the community's role in all of this. It’s really upsetting to see so many unsolved cases in Clarksdale, and it’s clear that the local authorities are overwhelmed. I’m not trying to point fingers here, but it seems like we, as a community, have to step up and provide whatever support we can. I can’t begin to imagine the pain Jeremy's family is going through. His mom, Jacqueline Houston, has been so brave and relentless, seeking justice for her son. Her courage at the board meeting in October was inspiring, but she can’t do this alone. We need to back her up, amplify her voice, and let the city know that we won’t stop until there’s some resolution. If anyone out there knows something, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please consider coming forward. It might just be the piece of the puzzle that’s missing. Let's come together to make our community a safer place. For Jeremy, and for all the other victims and their families who deserve answers.
