I’ve been following the Jenny Sue Pickett case, and while it deeply saddens me, something that stands out is the role of the third person who made the 9-1-1 call. It must’ve been an unbelievably terrifying situation for them. Does anyone know if they’ve spoken to the media or released a statement? I can't begin to imagine the trauma of witnessing such a horrific event. Also, living with the knowledge that they were likely so close to danger themselves is something that could haunt them for a long time. My heart goes out to them for their bravery in making that call, and to Jenny Sue’s friends and family. Too often, we overlook the impact these incidents have on witnesses. Sending strength to all affected by this tragedy.
