I read about the tragic death of Clayton Willis and just can't stop thinking about the vulnerability of individuals facing homelessness and disabilities. Clayton had been a familiar face to so many in the community, always trying to survive against the odds. It's deeply unsettling to hear about his encounter with Selita and how quickly things escalated. What’s bothering me is whether this was a random act of violence or if there was more to their interaction that led to such a tragic end. Seeing as Clayton had already suffered an unprovoked shooting just months before, my heart goes out to his family and friends who must be grappling with such devastating loss. I hope more witnesses come forward so the investigation can bring some much-needed answers and justice for Clayton and those who cared about him.
I've been following Clayton Willis's case, and something's been nagging at me about the scene of the incident. From what I've gathered, 8 Mile and the Southfield Freeway is a notoriously busy intersection. I can't help but wonder how there are still pieces missing about what led to this deadly altercation. With so many people around, did no one else see or hear anything that could help? The fact that both men ended up getting shot in broad daylight is just beyond disturbing.
I feel for Clayton's loved ones, seeing him go through such tragic circumstances not once, but twice, is unimaginable. Hopefully, those who witnessed something, anything, come forward to shed light and bring some semblance of justice. Every little bit of information can potentially make a big difference. Let's keep Clayton and his family in our thoughts as this investigation unfolds.
