It's heartbreaking that a place meant for camaraderie and friendship became a scene of tragedy.
It's important we also think of the implication this has on community spaces that are supposed to be safe havens. How will this affect members of the club and the broader community? Places like New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where Charlie’s visitation will be held, will be crucial in providing support and a sense of peace. My heart goes out to Charlie’s family and friends, as well as everyone who knew him at the club. May they find strength and support during such a challenging time.
