I've been following the case of Kenya Collins, and one aspect that's really stuck with me is how it shines a spotlight on the broader issue of gun violence in our communities. It's so sad to think that a dispute could escalate to the point where a life is lost. I keep thinking about how Kenya's family must be feeling right now—having to come to terms with such an unnecessary and tragic loss. It's not just a single tragedy; it's part of a larger pattern we're seeing too often. With Willie Allen being charged so quickly, it shows that law enforcement is taking this seriously, which is crucial, but it doesn't bring back a beloved member of the community. I really hope this prompts some deeper conversations about how to prevent these situations from happening in the future. My thoughts are with Kenya's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Sending them strength and hoping for peace and justice in this heartbreaking situation.
