I’ve been following the Glenelg case closely, and my heart goes out to the family and everyone in that community. I can’t stop thinking about how this could impact the students at Glenelg High School. Both Braden and Hailey were so young, with entire futures ahead of them. Just imagining their friends and classmates returning to school is tough. It’s such a small-knit community, and I’m sure many knew the Zanski family personally. My thoughts are with all the young people who must be struggling to process this profound loss, and I hope they take advantage of the support the school is offering. It’s so important for them to lean on each other and talk about what they’re feeling. Losing peers under such circumstances isn’t easy to comprehend, especially at such a young age.

I can't stop thinking about the impact this has on the Glenelg High School community. As someone who works in education, I've seen firsthand how the loss of a student can ripple through a school, and I can't even begin to imagine the weight of losing two classmates in such a tragic manner. The role schools play in supporting students during these times is so crucial. I've heard they've set up a crisis intervention team, which is a step in the right direction. It's moments like these where the strength of a community truly shines, and I hope the students and staff feel the support from everyone around them. Does anyone know how the school plans on addressing this with Braden and Hailey's peers in the longer term? Sending love and strength to everyone affected.
