Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Shakeia Allen, and I'm still struck by how the community has come together in response to this senseless act. It’s evident from the outpouring of support and the hashtag #JusticeforShakeia that her story has touched so many. Something that's been on my mind is the role of social media in cases like this, particularly how the video taken by a neighbor quickly went viral. While it’s disturbing to think about such moments being captured, it also seems to play a crucial role in spreading awareness and encouraging public involvement, don't you think? I can't help but think about how these platforms can be double-edged swords—raising awareness and aiding investigations, but possibly retraumatizing victims' loved ones. I continue to send my thoughts and prayers to Shakeia's family and friends. No one should have to endure this kind of tragedy. For those in Parkville or elsewhere, please stay vigilant and share any information you might have about Amir Johnson. Together, hopefully, we can help bring some closure to this heartbreaking situation. Stay safe out there, and let’s keep supporting each other.
