I’ve been thinking a lot about the angle of this case with the surveillance footage showing the exact moment things went down. It’s chilling but also so crucial for the investigation. I'm relieved they have that evidence because it's often what pushes cases forward. It's still incredibly sad to see someone’s life cut short like this, especially when they were just doing what any ordinary person would by stopping for a pedestrian. I hope the footage can provide some clarity to the investigators and, ultimately, bring some peace to Garfield Redd’s loved ones. It must be unimaginably difficult for them to grapple with the senselessness of it all. It's a small solace, but knowing the suspect was quickly identified and arrested might help them feel some semblance of justice is on the horizon. Anyone else got thoughts on how surveillance footage impacts these kinds of cases?
