I've been thinking a lot about the tragic case of William Swank from '94 and how these unsolved cases must haunt both the families and the investigators. Given the context of the time, it must have been incredibly difficult for the police to navigate through the wave of violent crime in West Palm Beach back then. It makes me wonder, from a community standpoint, how much trust there was in law enforcement to effectively solve crimes during that period.
Did anyone here live in Palm Beach County during the mid-90s? I'm curious about the overall atmosphere at the time and how residents felt about the crime wave and subsequent investigations. Maybe someone from the area has insights or memories that could add context or perhaps even help stir up something forgotten that might aid in new leads. Swank's case—and so many others—deserves resolution, and keeping the conversation alive is crucial for all these unsolved tragedies. Let's hope justice eventually finds its way to bring some peace to William's family.
