Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the role community events play in bringing people together and how they can turn into something so devastating like what happened with Sheldon Proctor. From what I’ve gathered, these car meets were more than just gatherings to show off cars; they were spaces for people to share a mutual love and form friendships. There’s something particularly sad about these events being tainted by such violence. I heard Sheldon was into cars despite his disability, and it just strikes me how much passion and resilience he must have had to still attend these meets. It's heartening to see a community rally around a shared interest, but now it's heartbreaking to see them having to deal with this aftermath. I hope that police make some headway soon, as the people attending these meets deserve to feel safe and enjoy their passions without fear.
