Hi everyone,
I wanted to talk a bit about the community response to Victor Basmirez’s tragic murder. It’s so moving to see how the Milwaukee community has come together to support Victor’s family in such a trying time. I read that they organized local vigils and fundraising events to help cover the funeral expenses and support the Basmirez family. It really highlights how strong and united our community is when facing such devastating circumstances.
Despite the pain, there's a sense of solidarity among neighbors, friends, and even strangers who didn’t know Victor personally. Everyone seems to recognize how much Victor meant to those close to him. It’s a small comfort, perhaps, to know that his spirit continues to impact people as they share stories and memories about him.
Let's continue to spread the word about the Crime Stoppers number and the P3 Tips app. Keeping this case in the public eye is crucial. Hopefully, justice will be served, and Victor’s family can find some measure of peace. My heart goes out to everyone who loved him.
Stay safe and stay vigilant, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Victor Eros Basmirez and how senseless violence has yet again robbed a community of a bright young soul. It’s been nearly four months since that tragic night, and I can’t help but wonder about the impact on his family and friends during the holiday season. They must be going through an incredibly tough time.
It really hits home that such a vibrant life was cut short just as he was becoming who he wanted to be. The fact that this happened in a busy area, at a time when people are out and about, is a stark reminder of how fleeting life can be.
I was also moved by something his family shared – how Victor had this contagious smile and this knack for dancing. Thinking of all those moments they’ll never get to share with him again is just devastating. His family put up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs. If you’re in a position to, maybe consider supporting them or spreading the word?
It’s absolutely crucial that anyone with even the smallest piece of information comes forward. The more the community rallies, the better the chance of bringing justice for Victor. If you hear something, say something, folks. We owe it to his memory and his loved ones. Let’s keep pushing for answers.
Stay safe out there.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Victor Eros Basmirez, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on the Milwaukee community. It’s so tragic that Victor lost his life in such a senseless way. What really struck me were the comments from his friends about how he always brought great energy to every gathering. I didn’t know him personally, but it sounds like he was the kind of person who lifted others up and made them feel valued—someone who had an infectious love for life.
It’s been almost four months with no arrests, and it’s frustrating. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for his family, especially as the holidays approach. If anyone has seen or heard anything, even if it seems small, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Sometimes it's the little details that can make a big difference in a case. We owe it to Victor and his family to push for justice.
Sending strength to all of those who knew and loved him. ?
