I've been following the tragic case of TC C. Greer, and I can't help but think about his friends and family, waking up each day without their loved one. It's truly difficult to imagine the pain they're going through. What stands out to me is the sense of community that's emerged since his passing; it's heartening to see people coming together to support his family through the GoFundMe campaign and share stories of how TC positively impacted their lives. But another aspect that weighs heavily on my mind is the lack of progress in identifying the shooter. With no arrests so far, it must be so frustrating and painful for those who knew him. I hope that anyone with information feels compelled to come forward and help bring justice for TC. This case is yet another reminder of the urgent need for solutions to the gun violence issue plaguing Milwaukee. Keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers.
