Hey everyone, I've been following this case since it happened, and something that really stood out to me is the way the local community in Lawton has shown such incredible support for Shakirr Cogdell's family. It’s really touching to see people come together for the candlelight vigil they held last week in his memory. There's something powerful about seeing so many faces, both familiar and strangers, uniting to remember someone who was clearly loved by so many. I also read that they're working on setting up a scholarship fund in Shakirr's name to help young people in the community pursue their education. It's heartwarming to know that even in tragedy, there’s a push towards positive change and honoring Shakirr’s life in a meaningful way. If anyone is local and knows more about the scholarship or how to contribute, please share the info! It’s inspiring to see a community come together like this, and it’s important to keep the momentum going, especially as they continue to seek justice for him. Keeping Shakirr’s family in my thoughts. Let’s keep sharing his story and supporting the family however we can. ❤️
