Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Darius Ellis and I can’t stop thinking about the timeline of events leading up to the night he was killed. Given that the shooting happened just before midnight, I'm curious if anyone else has looked into whether there were any significant events or gatherings in the area that evening. Sometimes, seemingly unrelated events can turn out to hold vital clues. I also wonder if any neighbors noticed unfamiliar people or vehicles earlier in the day. I’ve read cases where something like a parked car or a random stranger not typically seen in the neighborhood turned out to be crucial in understanding what happened. I feel for Darius’s fiancée, Amanda, having to face this horrible loss and would want nothing more than to help provide any sort of resolution. If anyone here lives around Southeast 27th Street or has access to the released surveillance footage, maybe we can pool our thoughts together. Anything to spark a new lead for the investigators might be worth looking into. Let’s hope more information comes to light soon for Darius's family and friends. Stay safe, everyone.
