Has anyone else noticed how the ongoing feud between Colter Vaught and Clayton Hays seemed to have spiraled into something so tragic? It caught my attention how there was already tension between them as far back as December. It makes you wonder about the dynamics between these two and if anything could have been done to defuse the situation earlier. The fact that law enforcement was already aware of a previous confrontation is concerning. I can't help but feel for Colter's family and friends who have to deal with not only his loss but also the public spectacle this case has become, especially after that disgraceful incident with the memorial. Those who knew Colter say he was always willing to lend a hand. It's truly a shame that his story had to end this way.
Did anyone else hear about Hays throwing a bag of animal feces at Colter’s memorial? I can’t wrap my head around how someone could do something so disrespectful. It’s not just childish; it’s cruel. I can’t imagine how painful it must have been for Colter’s family and friends to see that happen to a tribute meant to honor his life. Beyond the legal implications, I feel this speaks volumes about Hays' character. For Colter’s loved ones, who are already mourning, this must have felt like a slap in the face. I’m hoping that justice is served not only for the shooting but also for this latest act of indecency. It’s the least Colter and his family deserve.
