I'm just devastated by how a simple grocery run turned into a nightmare for Henry Gonzalez Carmona and his loved ones. The fact that three others, including his girlfriend Angelica, were caught up in this horrific incident is just beyond words. Vancouver is usually such a calm place, and hearing about this shooting at a place as ordinary as a Safeway parking lot is incredibly jarring. I hope Angelica and those injured recover soon, both physically and emotionally. I can't help but wonder about the charges against Nicholas Martinell-Sterling and Austin A. Bell. What could have possibly led to such a senseless act? I commend the law enforcement for their quick work in making those arrests. However, the pain for Henry’s family must still be immeasurable. Sending thoughts to them during this difficult time. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on the case since the arrests?

It's hard to imagine what Henry Gonzalez Carmona's family and friends must be going through right now. I've been thinking a lot about Angelica, who survived the incident. To be injured during such a traumatic event and to lose a loved one at the same time is unimaginable. I wish her and all others affected by this horrible event the strength and resilience to heal. It's a relief to see Vancouver police taking steps to address the community's concerns by making these arrests, but it must feel like little comfort compared to the loss they've endured. This tragedy highlights how vulnerable we all are to senseless acts of violence in our daily lives. My thoughts are with this community as they rally together to support each other. ?
