I've been following this case and can't stop thinking about how brave Jessyca and Katie were trying to defuse the situation. It’s truly devastating what happened, and my heart goes out to their families, especially Jessyca’s son. I read that community gatherings and events have been heartfelt but emotionally draining. It's a reminder of the toll such violence takes, not just on families but on an entire community. Given the outpouring from locals who knew and loved them both, it’s clear they impacted many lives. I hope justice is served soon, and that the community continues to support each other and their families during such a tough time. If anyone hears updates about the manhunt or has any more info on how their families are holding up, please share.

I'm really haunted by how everything went down in the Stars Bar & Grill parking lot. Jessyca and Katie should have been heading home safely after their shift, not caught in such a tragic ending. What gets me is the courage they showed by confronting someone with a weapon. Not many would risk themselves like that, but those who knew them aren't surprised—everyone says how fiercely loyal and protective they were. The thought of Jessyca's 14-year-old son now facing life without his mom is truly gut-wrenching. All while the person responsible is still somewhere out there evading justice. Every day that passes must be torture for their families, waiting and hoping Ramirez is found. In times like these, the community’s support has been touching to see, with folks coming together for the memorial and contributing to the GoFundMe. It shows that even in darkness, there's still light from those willing to uplift others. Thoughts with all who loved Jessyca and Katie.

I can't stop thinking about that customer who tried to help Jessyca and Katie. It's such a brave thing to intervene like that, especially when it involved a gun. It's terrifying to imagine being in that situation. Even though he also got hurt, he did what he could to try and protect them, and that takes a lot of courage. It’s clear Jessyca and Katie must have meant a lot to folks around them for him to step in like that. My heart goes out to him too as he tries to heal from this traumatic experience, both physically and emotionally. I hope he knows that his actions were heroic and that many of us are grateful someone like him was there, despite the tragic outcome.
