Hi everyone, I came across some information about Salih Yusuf Ujaama, and I can't shake off how overwhelming this must be for his loved ones, especially with what happened to his brother Sultan. One thing that stood out to me is how the community has come together, lighting nearly a hundred virtual candles for him on the National Gun Violence Memorial. It really shows how deep his loss has been felt and how desperately people want to find a way to remember him. What gets me is thinking about how Salih still had so many chapters in his life waiting to be written. It's frustrating and deeply saddening to see another young life stolen away. I hope there will be justice for Salih and that his story prompts more conversations around finding solutions to this terrible cycle of violence. Sending all my thoughts to the Ujaama family and everyone affected by this devastating situation.
