I can't stop thinking about the senselessness of what happened to Monic Lashaye Swan. It's incredibly troubling to imagine that an argument over something as trivial as a hairline could escalate to such deadly violence. My heart goes out to Monic's family and friends—it must be unimaginably painful to lose someone so suddenly under such tragic circumstances. It's stories like these that make you question what's happening in our society. I hope the community can come together to support those who were affected and to honor the memories of Monic and the other victims. Hey everyone, I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the senselessness of what happened to Monic and everyone involved in the Alleycat shooting. I can’t stop thinking about how this all started over something as trivial as an argument near the pool tables. It's gut-wrenching that a discussion turning sour can lead to such devastating consequences. I keep wondering about the role of the environment in the escalation—were there signs of tension that could’ve been noticed or diffused earlier? Or was it just a series of unfortunate events that spiraled out of control? My heart goes out to Monic’s family and the other victims. They deserved so much better, and I hope the community can rally around them to offer some form of support during this incredibly difficult time. Has anyone local heard if there are any specific community measures being suggested to increase safety and prevent this from happening again?
