I've been following Malkie Loeak's case since it first broke. As a father myself, I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through right now. It's devastating to hear that a loving dad was taken away in such a senseless and violent manner, especially in his own home, where he should have felt the safest. Something that's been on my mind is the response time and effectiveness of law enforcement in these situations. Given this incident happened in the same week as two other shootings, I wonder how resources are being allocated among these cases. Is it possible that investigators have been stretched too thin because of the multiple investigations happening simultaneously? Or could there have possibly been any oversight due to the chaos of so many incidents in such a short period? I hope the community will come together and support the detectives working on this case. If anyone has even the slightest bit of information, it could be crucial in piecing together what happened. Keeping Malkie's family in my thoughts and hoping for justice soon.
