Hey everyone, I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the tragedy in Orchards with the Rouse family. Something that's been weighing on me is the neighbor's account of hearing screams before the authorities arrived. It's haunting to think about what might have been happening in those moments before help could reach them. It makes me wonder if there were any signs or sounds leading up to this that someone might have missed. I feel deeply for the neighbors and first responders who had to encounter such a traumatic scene. This kind of event is so incredibly hard for all those touched by it, directly or indirectly. I can't imagine the pain that Melissa and her family must have gone through. It's just so sad. If anyone knows of ways the community is coming together to support each other, please share. We all need a little more light right now.

I've been following the tragic case of the Rouse family, and it's weighing heavily on my mind. What really stands out to me is how little anyone apparently knew about Stuart Rouse's state of mind before this horrific event. No prior criminal record, no known history of mental health issues, and no previous calls to the house—it's terrifying to think how something so devastating could brew beneath the surface with no apparent warning signs. I can't even begin to imagine the immense pain their loved ones must be enduring right now, trying to piece together why this happened. My thoughts go out to everyone connected to Melissa and the entire Rouse family during this incredibly difficult time.

Has anyone else been following the Rouse family tragedy in Vancouver? It's so hard to wrap my head around how something like this could happen. I've been thinking a lot about Melissa and what her life must've been like. At just 19, she had her whole future ahead of her, and now that's all gone. It's absolutely devastating. Her friends and those who loved her must be going through an unimaginable amount of pain right now. I saw on the GoFundMe that the family is really pulling together for support, but it's just so hard to fathom the depth of their loss. I read somewhere that no one in the neighborhood seemed to notice any signs leading up to this, which makes it even more concerning. Does anyone have any thoughts on how we, as a community, can be more attentive or supportive in possibly preventing tragedies like this in the future? I hope the investigation can provide some answers and maybe give some closure to those left behind.
