It’s so devastating to see the community of Lakewood grappling with the loss of Leslie Crossley. What's really got me thinking is the role of social media in this case. It seems like Leslie was lured into a situation that turned out to be incredibly dangerous. I've read that Moorer arranged a fake meeting, but what isn’t clear is how he managed to gain her trust. Was it through direct communication or some mutual connection online? It’s a chilling reminder of how easily someone can be manipulated into a vulnerable situation. I can’t imagine what her family is going through right now, and my thoughts are with them as they deal with such a painful loss. Hopefully, the ongoing investigation can shed some light on how this all unfolded and help us understand how to prevent such tragedies in the future.
