Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Nicholas Harju's tragic death, and something that's been on my mind is the role that drugs might have played in this. It's really sad to think about how many lives are being touched by the illegal drug trade, and how it's often linked to violence. I read that Nicholas was caught up in a drug deal when he was shot, and it got me wondering how many other people are similarly vulnerable. From what I've heard, it's not uncommon for drug deals to go wrong, but it's such a cruel twist of fate for someone's life to end that way. I guess it just makes me think about how important it is for communities to come together to tackle these issues head-on. Nicholas was someone's son, maybe a brother or friend, and it's just terrible to see another life ended too soon because of this cycle of drugs and violence.
