I’ve been following Matthew Budney's case closely, and my thoughts are with his loved ones during this horrendous time. One question that's been on my mind is why the confrontation happened behind the 7-Eleven store. Was it a place Matthew frequented, or was it a random spot? Did he know Danford from before, perhaps? It seems odd for it to occur there unless they had some prior connection or if something specific led them to that location. I really hope the authorities are piecing together these details because understanding the "why" might help prevent future tragedies. Anyone have insights or theories on this aspect?

I've been following the Matthew Budney case and recently read more about Ryan Danford's background. What stands out to me is how someone with a prior criminal history could still get their hands on a firearm. It's incredibly frustrating and makes me wonder about the loopholes in the system. More importantly, it adds to the grief and anger that Matthew's family and friends must be feeling, knowing that this tragedy might have been prevented.
