I’ve been following Justin Douglas's case and something I’ve been mulling over is the impact this has on the West Horizons community. It’s so unsettling to think about how this tragedy took place in what should be the safety of one's neighborhood. I can only imagine how the nearby residents are feeling, knowing that something so violent occurred so close to their homes. It's a stark reminder of how crucial community engagement and vigilance are in these situations. Does anyone have insights into how the neighborhood has been responding or if there have been any community meetings or efforts to support each other since this happened? It’s moments like these that really bring to light how much we need each other and how communities need to come together to find strength. My thoughts are with all of those who knew Justin and those who live in the area.
