Has anyone here ever been to The Doll House or know someone who has? I'm trying to wrap my head around what kind of place it is and why things escalated so terribly on that night. From the details I've found, it seems like there have been multiple issues there before. It breaks my heart thinking about how Charles T. Smith lost his life in such a chaotic setting. Just wondering if anyone has more insight into the environment there and if the club has made any changes since this tragedy. Also, I feel for anyone else affected that night. It must be incredibly tough for the other victims and their families as well. What a senseless loss.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Charles T. Smith case and something that's been on my mind is the community’s response to The Doll House and what role it might play in preventing future tragedies. It’s hard to imagine the pain Charles’ family must be going through, losing a loved one so senselessly. I feel like the entire neighborhood is in mourning, too. Columbus city officials seem pretty serious about tackling the violence at The Doll House. By aiming for it to be declared a public nuisance, they’re definitely sending a message. But I keep wondering, will forcing it to close temporarily really make a difference in the long run? Do you guys think the lawsuit will push other clubs to step up their security, or is it just a temporary fix for a much bigger problem? Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on how the community can work together to make places like this safer for everyone.

Has anyone looked into The Doll House's history with local law enforcement? It's concerning that law enforcement labeled it a public nuisance due to repeated violence. Given Charlie Smith's murder, it makes me wonder if this establishment has been a hotspot for such incidents in the past. Were there other times when things escalated to violence, but perhaps not to the point where lives were lost? If there’s a pattern, it’s strange these places manage to stay open for so long. Thinking about how these places don't just affect those directly involved but also everyone in the community who wants to feel safe. For the sake of Charlie and everyone else touched by this tragedy, I hope the authorities can get to the bottom of what happened and make meaningful changes. Thoughts?
