I can't stop thinking about Tha Soe's case. It's been almost a year, and we're still seeking answers. What really stands out to me is the lack of progress—no suspects, no clear leads. I’ve read multiple times about the reward and wonder if more people are aware of this. Given how close-knit many refugee communities can be, maybe someone knows something that hasn't come to light yet?
It's devastating knowing Tha's family, who already faced so many challenges, is left in limbo without justice. If anyone reading this is local to Akron, maybe consider bringing this up in your circles. Even the smallest detail could make a world of difference. Let's rally around this young man's loved ones and urge anyone who might know something to step forward. Tha deserves that kind of effort from us all.

I have been thinking a lot about the unknowns in Tha Soe’s case. It's incredibly sad how it remains unsolved almost a year later. I can't imagine how difficult each day must be for his family, not knowing who or why someone would take such a kind young man's life. What's really unsettling is that no suspects have been identified yet. It makes you wonder how someone could commit such a senseless act and just vanish without a trace.
I find it particularly frustrating that despite the efforts by the Akron Police Department and the reward offered, we still don't have answers. Did the shooter know Tha? Was it random? Was there something else going on? Soe's past experiences growing up in a refugee camp shaped him into a resilient and hopeful young man. For his life to have ended in violence like this is so incredibly unfair.
Akron folks, please keep talking. Someone has got to know something, right? Even the smallest detail might be what cracks the case wide open. It’s important we keep Tha’s memory alive and continue seeking justice for him. Sending thoughts and love to his family and little one during this really hard time.
