I can't stop thinking about the family dynamics involved in this tragic case. It's just so hard to wrap my head around how someone you consider a family friend, like Kenyatta Washington was to the Blackmans, could end up being the one responsible for such a senseless loss. I mean, according to what Blackman's father said, this wasn't gang-related, just a deeply personal issue that sadly spiraled out of control. It must be incredibly confusing and painful for the families, dealing with the loss of their loved ones and also coming to terms with who was responsible. Friendship and trust once existed here, and to see it unravel in such a devastating way is incredibly sad. I do hope that these families find the support and healing they need, and that discussions in the community help prevent similar tragedies in the future. Anyone else from Lima noticed any changes or efforts around this? My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.
