Did anyone else catch the recent feature on Bobbie Rollins' case in the local Miami paper? It’s been over a decade, and it’s still sad to think this case hasn’t been solved. I was struck by how much Rollins seemed to be loved by his community — you could tell from the way neighbors and friends spoke about him. It’s just such a profound injustice that someone who was part of the community for so long has been taken, and yet, there are still no answers. I get that the police have limited resources, but come on, someone has to know something. With advances in forensic technology since 2007, I'm hopeful they'll review the evidence again. It’s always the small details that crack these cases wide open. If you lived around the Overtown area back then or happened to be in the vicinity around that time in August, please think back and come forward if you can recall anything, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Let's help bring some peace to Bobbie’s family.
