Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic news about Joshua Watts, and I can't get over how devastating this is for his family. One angle that's been on my mind is the role of community programs in preventing such incidents, specifically targeting younger individuals like Beamon. How effective are they, and are there any that have seen real success in other cities? It seems like this could be part of a larger effort to address gun violence and stop young people from choosing these paths. It's so sad to see a family lose two sons in such a short period. If anyone has insights on successful community interventions or knows about initiatives in Columbus, I'd love to hear about them. Sending strength and peace to his loved ones.
