Hey everyone, I've been following this tragic case with Kareem Dotson closely, and I'm struggling to wrap my head around the lack of security at that gas station. I know it's common for businesses like these to have some kind of surveillance - camera systems, maybe even a security guard, especially in an area that might see more crime. But the reports aren't mentioning any kind of deterrent. Do gas stations in Cleveland typically skimp on these kinds of safety measures, or could this be an exception? I feel awful for Kareem's family having to face not just the terrible loss but also these added questions about whether this could have been avoided. Anyone local have insights on whether this specific gas station had issues before, or maybe ideas on how we might push for better safety protocols at places like these? It's disheartening thinking others might be vulnerable too unless something changes. Sending love and strength to Kareem's loved ones in this difficult time. ?
