Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the role of social media after Saydoe Kearns' tragic death. While I'm sure it's helpful for spreading awareness, does anyone else feel like it could complicate the investigation? Friends and family understandably want to share memories and push for justice, but could all the noise possibly get in the way of investigators trying to piece together what truly happened? It must be so difficult for them to navigate through a sea of both support and speculation. I'm hoping they find a way to work through all of that and get some solid leads. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this loss, and I really hope justice is served soon, both for Saydoe and the grieving community of Portsmouth.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the increase in gun-related incidents, and I can't help but feel devastated for Saydoe "Li Zoe" Kearns' family. It's truly disheartening that this happened on New Year's Day—a time that should be about new beginnings. Watching the local news and seeing the impact it’s left on Portsmouth is just so tough. There have been talks around town about community gatherings aimed at addressing gun violence, but I'm wondering if there's more we, as a community, can do to prevent future tragedies like this one. Does anyone have thoughts on what steps we might take to make Portsmouth safer?
