Has anyone else been thinking about the search radius used in Timothy Metcalf's case? They found him 1.3 miles away from his home, which seems just outside the usual search radius. I know search efforts can be complicated and depend on various factors, but I wonder if expanding the radius could have changed things, especially when dealing with areas that have lots of wooded and hidden spots like Ashland. It's just so sad to think about his family and how they had to wait almost a year for some closure. This case has me really thinking about how we might improve search efforts in the future, especially for our vulnerable and elderly loved ones. My heart goes out to everyone who cared about him.
