It’s so distressing to see yet another young life stolen by violence. I'm particularly saddened for Michael's family as they navigate this painful journey. Reading about the community rallying together during the candlelight vigil was really moving. It’s clear how many lives Michael touched, and the outpouring of love and memories shared speaks volumes about his character. I also wanted to mention how significant it was that local leaders brought up the conversation about addressing systemic issues in Toledo that lead to such events. It’s more vital than ever that we look deeper into preventative measures and community support systems. Michael’s tragic death has sparked a necessary dialogue about safety and the changes needed to protect our youth. Hopefully, his legacy will drive real change and accountability moving forward.
