Did anyone else find it strange that there were no reports of witnesses hearing the gunshot? Franklinton isn't exactly a ghost town, and you'd think someone might've heard something given how populated that area can be. It's so sad to think about how many people could've been around without knowing what was happening just nearby. My heart goes out to John's family. I can't imagine the pain of losing someone so suddenly and so violently. I really hope the police have got it right with these arrests and that these suspects are truly responsible. We need justice for John and some peace for his loved ones.

It just reinforces the idea that we all have a part to play in making our neighborhoods safer. My thoughts go out to John Lang's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
