Did anyone else catch the candlelight vigil held for Raymond Brown this past weekend? It was deeply moving to see so many people come together in honor of his life and memory. His family spoke eloquently about Raymond, sharing stories that truly reflected his character and the love he had for everyone around him. While standing there amongst friends, neighbors, and strangers alike, it was a stark reminder of the toll that gun violence continues to take on our communities. It's unfortunate that it takes such a tragic loss to bring these issues to the forefront. Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call for officials to take concrete action. My thoughts are with Raymond’s family and friends during this difficult time.
