It's deeply saddening to read about what happened with Mr. Travis and Mr. Smoot. I noticed that a lot of us have been focusing on the crime itself and potential suspects, but I want to take a moment to think about the property owner in this situation. Can you imagine finding something like that in your own home? Who was this property owner that gave Pete and Wayne a place to live? Were they friends or just some good-hearted person trying to help out? It's hard to imagine the shock they must have felt upon discovering such a tragedy. I'm hopeful that the authorities are providing them with the support and resources they need to cope with such a traumatic experience. Also, has anyone heard if there's been any sort of community vigil or gathering for Pete and Wayne? It might be a way for people to come together and support each other, including the man or woman who generously allowed them to stay there. If anyone has info on that, please share. Let's keep their memories alive and offer some peace and comfort to their grieving friends and family.
