Leonard Davis, 69, was beaten and shot to death in his Turtle Creek neighborhood apartment in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 5, 2008. He shared the apartment with John Stoner, who was also found beaten and shot; Stoner’s daughter discovered both men after returning from school. Both victims showed signs of significant trauma and the scene was ransacked, with money and a firearm reported missing.

Investigators noted the apartment had reportedly been used for marijuana sales and that many different people visited the residence, details that complicated the probe and have led detectives to consider a robbery gone wrong. Reports indicate some suspects may have been underage at the time. Authorities have been re-examining evidence with newer forensic technology and continue to seek tips from the public.

Does anyone who knew Leonard, John, or the apartment have information that could help move this case forward?
