Does anyone have any updates on the weather conditions around Mount Jefferson around the time Louie Selam went missing? I’ve been trying to map out what might have happened, and getting stuck in the snow seems to have played a crucial role in this whole situation. The fact that Louie’s car was found locked with groceries and dog food makes me wonder if he planned on going somewhere nearby on foot after realizing he was stuck. But then again, why leave the safety of the car? It’s been a while, but maybe someone local remembers if there were any severe storms or sudden temperature drops around mid-March 2022. Any insights could help understand his potential movements.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Louie Selam’s disappearance, and something that's been bothering me is the whole dog food situation. Does anyone know if he had a dog or was planning to get one soon? It seems odd he'd buy dog food otherwise. Could this mean he possibly strayed off to help a dog in distress somewhere? The area around Peter’s Pasture is so vast and rugged, maybe he was trying to help an animal and lost his way. I hope authorities consider this angle again, although I know it’s been so long. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Did anyone else catch the recent report on missing Louie Selam? It's been so long since he vanished near Mount Jefferson, and yet, it feels like we're no closer to answers. Something that's nagging me—why would he be out in that harsh terrain alone? Given his age, perhaps his choice of location could offer some clues. Was he planning to meet someone? Or did he have a favorite spot he liked to visit? I've read mentions of a few hikers seeing a white car in that direction before the snow hit. Anyone else in the area notice anything odd around Peter's Pasture at the time? Any small detail could be crucial. Keeping his family in my thoughts as they keep searching.
