Just been thinking about the impact of community ties in these cases, like Dewon Que’Shawn Lee’s tragic death. It’s tough to imagine the ripple effect his loss must have on his family, friends, and neighbors. He was a part of so many lives and Cleveland feels a little less vibrant without him. I really hope the investigators are reaching out and listening to those who knew him well—they often hold crucial insights or have noticed something that could guide the investigation. It’s a small comfort, perhaps, but knowing the voices of those who cared for him are part of the process might be so important right now. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts and hoping for justice and healing for everyone affected.
