I've been following the case about LD Yantis, and I just can't shake the overwhelming sadness for his family, especially his kids. It’s hard to fathom how they’re coping with such a sudden loss, especially given that they’ve lost other family members before. I came across a post about how LD was a skilled roofer, working tirelessly to provide for his family. He seemed to be one of those genuine, hard-working folks that you seldom find these days. It breaks my heart thinking about his kids growing up without him and missing out on all the things he did with them, like those little moments that make up a lifetime. It just makes you realize how the ripple effects of such crimes reach far beyond the immediate incident. My thoughts are with them. I hope justice is served, and this shines a light on the issue of gun violence in Columbus. Would love to hear others’ thoughts on the community's response to this tragedy.
I've been following the Yantis case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his kids. Losing a parent so suddenly and violently is a trauma that takes a lifetime to heal from, if ever. I wonder if there are local organizations in Columbus that provide support for children who experience such loss. It would be great to see the community rally around them, not just now, but long-term. Also, if anyone has ideas on how to help the family beyond what’s been suggested, please share them. Every bit of support could make a difference in their lives during such a devastating time. ? Keeping the Yantis family in my thoughts.
