I can't stop thinking about Aeriel's petition for protection back in August. She bravely documented everything she went through with Manuel, but it seems like the system didn't protect her in the end. I hope her story raises awareness about domestic violence and the importance of taking every single threat seriously. Sending lots of love to everyone who knew and loved Aeriel. This shouldn't have happened.
