Hi everyone,
I wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind regarding Harry Velarde’s case. It’s incredibly sad to hear about his passing, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I was wondering if anyone else picked up on the detail that Harry had met one of the suspects, Pacheco, just days before the incident?
This seems strange to me. It makes me question whether there was any indication during that first meeting that something was off. Did anyone see or hear something unusual around that time? I'm hoping that sharing information could possibly help understand the circumstances that led to such a devastating result.
It’s unsettling to think how a brief encounter could potentially evolve into a tragic situation. Just grasping at straws here, but any insight or thoughts on this would be appreciated. Keeping Harry’s loved ones in my thoughts as they navigate through such a difficult time.
Stay safe, everyone.

I heard about the tragic loss of Mr. Velarde, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who must be experiencing unimaginable pain right now. One thing that strikes me about this case is the level of trust that might have been betrayed. It’s unsettling to think that Velarde had met Pacheco just days before the incident. This acquaintance may have made him feel a false sense of security. It leaves me wondering, how often do we let our guard down around people we barely know? Situations like this make me question the line between cautiousness and paranoia. In a world where kindness is often met with cruelty, what can we do as a society to better protect the most vulnerable among us while still maintaining a sense of community and trust? I'm grateful that the APD acted quickly in apprehending Gonzales and Pacheco, bringing some measure of justice to a senseless act. But the loss will linger long after the headlines fade, a painful reminder for us to be vigilant and compassionate. Sending my thoughts to those mourning Harry Velarde. ?
